Welcome to Gutter View. By requesting a quote, booking a service, or authorising work, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Scope of Service & Operational Method
Gutter View operates exclusively using specialist ground-based high-suction vacuum technology and high-definition carbon-fiber camera systems. For safety and efficiency, our technicians do not climb onto roofs or use ladders for gutter clearing. All gutter clearance is performed from ground level.
2. Quotations & Pricing Adjustments
Initial verbal, online, or digital quotations are provided in good faith based on standard property dimensions and information supplied by the customer.
- Quotes assume gutters are accessible using standard ground-based vacuum poles.
- If severe blockages (such as rooted vegetation, solid mortar, or cement debris) or unstated structural extensions are discovered on-site, we reserve the right to revise the price. Any adjusted cost will be agreed upon with you before work proceeds.
3. Access, Parking & Utility Requirements
To ensure smooth service delivery, the client agrees to provide:
- Clear Access: Unobstructed ground access around the property perimeter, including unlocking side gates and moving vehicles, outdoor furniture, or garden items blocking the work area.
- Electrical Power: Access to a standard 240V domestic power socket (or prior notification if power is unavailable so generator arrangements can be made).
- Parking: Suitable parking space close to the property for our service vehicle and equipment unloading. Any parking fees or permit requirements must be arranged or covered by the customer.
4. Pre-Existing Property Conditions & Leaks
Gutter clearing involves removing heavy moss, mud, silt, and standing water. Gutter View is not liable for:
- Pre-existing structural defects, loose tile mortar, rotted fascia boards, or rusted bracketry.
- Leaking gutter joints, failed rubber gaskets, or degraded seals. Removing dense debris may expose existing joint leaks that were previously blocked by mud. Gutter clearing cleans the channel but does not constitute a structural repair.
- Damage caused by pre-existing loose or fragile roof tiles that fall naturally during or after standard operation.
5. HD Camera Inspections & Visual Proof
Where included, camera inspections provide real-time visual feedback of gutter conditions before and after cleaning. While our camera poles can inspect the vast majority of gutter channels, physical obstructions (e.g., narrow roof soffits or chimney stacks) may occasionally restrict line-of-sight into specific downpipe angles.
6. Waste Removal & Site Cleanliness
All organic waste, moss, and silt extracted during the vacuum process are collected directly into our machine tanks and will be removed from your property upon completion, leaving your surrounding grounds clean and tidy.
7. Payment Terms
Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service on the day of work, unless formal credit terms have been agreed in writing for commercial accounts. We accept bank transfers and major credit/debit cards. Late payments may be subject to administrative interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act.
8. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand plans change. Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your booking. In cases of extreme adverse weather (e.g., high winds, torrential rain, or freezing conditions), Gutter View reserves the right to reschedule your appointment for safety reasons.
9. Public Liability Insurance
Gutter View maintains full Public Liability Insurance for all residential and commercial ground-based operations.
